SKU - Miki Kaoru

<sub>It's finally done! Yay! I made an executive decision regarding his outfit and decided to combine the blue suit he wears in the movie with the shape and style of the white suit he wears in the TV show. (The white looked too stark, in this case.) I also made a small hair tutorial here, for anyone interested. And the gaudy looking border is tribute to the ones that frequently appear on the TV show. XD

The first anime I ever saw--the one that started it all--was Revolutionary Girl Utena. I was... nine. The subtext of all the questionable relationships throughout the series totally and completely flew over my head, though looking back and re-watching the series, all the drama and intrigue is pretty interesting.

Anyways, Miki was always my favorite duelist, mostly because he was sweet and pure in a world where everyone else seemed to be so jaded. When I saw him make this pose in one of the earlier episodes, I knew that I just had to draw him this way--it's the quintessential Miki pose!
