F U L L V I E W
Before I even have to deal with anyone-- yes, this was Cowboy Bebop-inspired, but this is not fanart, this was not eyeball'd and for the most part, decisions on my end of the image were subconscious in their relationship to one of anime's most famous poses. It's not my fault that the world connects finger-guns with Spike Spiegel. XD
On to the good stuff!
This is my most recent art project for AP Studio. As many of you might have noticed, the base of this piece was indeed borrowed form an older work of mine that I submitted over the summer. ([link]) I was actually going to straight-up use that piece, but alas-- my art teacher was convinced that the subject was a girl, and what's more, me, so I decided to tweak it a bit on the lightbox. ;D
The lineart was SO easy for once! Thick marker on heavy paper, a little tweaking in CS2, and... yay! That's all, really. I was playing around with gradients on this, as you can see, and I think the over all affect was really nice.

This picture is legendary!!! I didn't realize you made this way back at the end of 06' either. I know some people at my job the other day were talking about how they just got there AP scores, and I really hope the 4 or 5 you deserve for this is at home waiting for you! 
This picture being legendary aside,
I'm really glad this is Cowboy Bebop inspired. My only problem with the show is that the Jazz music was so good and I was able to connect with all the characters so well that all other animes I have tried to watch since then have been extremely crappy in comparison. But still... Bang.
